BOONEVILLE, Iowa — Authorities say the body of a person has been recovered from an early morning fire at a mobile home in central Iowa.
Crews from at least three fire departments responded to the early Monday fire at the Prairie Village Mobile Home Park in Booneville. The home was fully engulfed when responders arrived.
Ron Humphrey, spokesman for the Iowa State Fire Marshal's Office, says the structure was completely destroyed. No other injuries have been reported.
The name of the person has not been released. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
