Dickinson man, 50, pleads guilty in 2 sex abuse cases involving victims under age 15

DICKINSON, North Dakota — A 50-year-old Dickinson man has pleaded guilty in two child sex abuse cases.

KXMB-TV ( ) Jacob Lampl changed his plea this week to two felony counts of continuous sexual abuse of a minor. Authorities say he engaged in sex acts with victims under 15-years-old.

Lampl was first charged in March of this year. One of the cases covers a six-year period beginning in 2006.

Stark County Assistant State's Attorney Tom Gehrz says Lampl could still withdraw his guilty pleas based on the results of a pending pre-sentence investigation.
