Ohio job services agency to share unemployment rate, other data for November

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The state is set to release Ohio's unemployment rate for November, along with other jobs data.

The report coming Friday morning from the Department of Job and Family Services is a look at unemployment across sectors, including construction, manufacturing, health care, leisure and hospitality.

Ohio's unemployment rate was down slightly to 5.3 percent for October.

The unemployment rate had held steady at 5.7 percent in July and August, then dropped to 5.6 percent for September.

Ohio unemployment in November 2013 was 7.4 percent.
