Grain mostly lower, beef mixed and pork higher

CHICAGO — Grain futures were mostly lower Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Dec delivery fell 4.50 cents to $4.9625 a bushel; Dec corn was .75 cents higher at 3.4375 a bushel; Dec oats was 3.75 cents lower at $3.5075 a bushel; while Nov soybeans declined 8.75 cents to $9.8075 a bushel.

Beef was mixed and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Dec live cattle fell .15 cent to $1.5887 a pound; Oct feeder cattle was .02 cent higher at $2.2587 a pound; while Dec lean hogs fell .07 cent to $.9592 a pound.
