CHARLESTON, West Virginia — Nearly 70 hospitals and health systems will be represented at the West Virginia Legislature as the industry seeks to influence health-care legislation.

Thursday's lobbying day is sponsored by the West Virginia Hospital Association. The association says Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin will proclaim "Hospital Day."

Participants also will attend Senate and House floor sessions, committee meetings, and have the opportunity to speak with their local legislators about issues facing their community hospital and the hospital field.

The association represents 67 hospitals and health systems.
