EL SEGUNDO, California — The Los Angeles Lakers have assigned rookies Ryan Kelly and Elias Harris to their D-League affiliate, the Los Angeles D-Fenders.
The Lakers made the moves Thursday.
Kelly was the Lakers' second round selection in last summer's draft. The former Duke captain has appeared in two games this season.
Los Angeles signed Harris as an undrafted rookie from Gonzaga after a solid performance for its summer league team. He also has appeared in two games for the Lakers.
The moves leave the Lakers with 11 healthy players on their roster, including seldom-used center Robert Sacre. Kobe Bryant and Steve Nash are out with injuries.
