LONDON — Bayern Munich received 166 points out of a possible 170 in topping this week's Associated Press global soccer poll after it thrashed Werder Bremen 7-0.

Franck Ribery, who scored twice for Munich, was first in the player vote, 33 points ahead of second-placed Luis Suarez.
Bayer Leverkusen polled second, 61 points behind, after its 1-0 win at Borussia Dortmund, just edging Suarez's Liverpool side in third.
Liverpool beat Norwich and West Ham 5-1 and 4-1 in the English Premier League.
