Police: Couple whose bodies found in Colorado Springs home died as result of murder-suicide


COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado — Police say two people whose bodies were found in a Colorado Springs home died as a result of a murder-suicide.

Lt. Catherine Buckley said Monday that 52-year-old Bruce Munger shot his wife, 55-year-old Corinne Munger, before turning the gun on himself at the couple's home Friday.

Margarita Trevino Waters, one of Corrine Munger's friends, tells The Gazette ( ) the couple were experiencing marital problems and Corrine Munger was thinking about moving out of the home.

Corrine Munger died of multiple gunshot wounds, and Bruce Munger died of a single, self-inflicted gunshot wound.
