Man charged with heroin possession during vehicle stop on I-91

ROCKINGHAM, Vermont — State police say they found 78 bags of heroin during a vehicle search following a traffic stop on Interstate 91 in Vermont.

Police stopped the vehicle Thursday for speeding and a lanes violation in Rockingham.

The driver, 27-year-old Sean Lowden of Springfield, Vermont, was arrested on a charge of possession of heroin. It wasn't immediately known if he had a lawyer.
