Shreveport police probe early Sunday shooting; victim expected to survive

SHREVEPORT, Louisiana — Shreveport police are looking for a suspect in an early morning shooting.

It happened in west Shreveport around 4:30 a.m. Sunday. Police say a 25-year-old man was shot as he was walking to his apartment.

Although he was hospitalized after being hit multiple times in his upper body, the wounds were not considered life-threatening.

The motive for the crime and the identity of the suspect were not known.
