The Brunswick/Brittonkill School District says on its web page that 26 Tamarac Elementary School students were on the bus when the accident happened shortly before 4 p.m. Tuesday on Route 7 in Pittstown. The district says one student was transported by ambulance to a hospital. Police tell media outlets the student's injuries were minor.

The name of the driver and details of the accident weren't immediately released.
