CALHOUN, Louisiana — Ouachita Parish sheriff's deputies say a mother and her two sons were killed in a crash in Calhoun.
Maj. Mike Moore tells The News-Star (http://tnsne.ws/1c18M4I ) deputies responded at about 8 p.m. Monday to the wreck on Richardson Road.
Moore said deputies discovered four occupants in the vehicle.
The three who died were 29-year-old Amber Potts and her two sons, ages 11 and 9. Moore said the names of the boys have not been confirmed.
Authorities say Rebecca Potts, the mother of Amber Potts, was driving and suffered moderate to severe injuries.
Moore said the car went off the roadway, struck a tree and possibly became airborne before striking a second tree.
