56-year-old Billings man killed when his motorcycle is struck from behind by pickup truck.


BILLINGS, Montana — A 56-year-old Billings man died after his motorcycle was struck from behind by a pickup truck.

Sgt. Shane Winden of the Billings Police Department says the driver of the pickup was taken into custody.

The accident happened just after 1 a.m. Saturday.

The name of the victim was not immediately released.

Winden says the motorcyclist was stopped at a red light when the pickup struck him, throwing him some 100 yards.

Winden says the pickup driver left the scene and was soon arrested.
