BEAR, Delaware — Delaware State Police say a man has died after being struck by a car in Bear.

Troopers said Monday that 60-year-old Anthony Jenkins of Lewes died late Saturday at Christiana Hospital, where he was flown after Friday night's crash.

Police say the crash happened as the driver of a Nissan Altima was traveling westbound on Pulaski Highway approaching Rickey Boulevard. Troopers say the Nissan struck Jenkins, who stepped into the roadway. The Nissan stopped but was then struck by a Chevrolet Silverado.

The driver of the Nissan and the Chevrolet were not injured. The crash is still under investigation.
