OTTUMA, Iowa — Ottumwa police have arrested a 30-year-old man they believe sexually assaulted a teenage girl.
Police tell the Ottuma Courier (http://bit.ly/1234Zx4) that they received a report Friday that a 14-year-old girl had been sexually assaulted, and the 30-year-old Ottumwa man was identified as a suspect.
The man was later arrested Friday and charged with third-degree sex abuse and incest.
The Associated Press is not revealing the man's name to protect the identity of the girl.
The man was being held Saturday in the Wapello County Jail in lieu of a $15,000 bond.
