Person struck, killed by Metro Gold Line train east of downtown Los Angeles


LOS ANGELES — Los Angeles authorities say a person has been struck and killed by a Metro Gold Line train.

The Fire Department says the fatality was reported about 11:15 a.m. Tuesday just east of downtown.

Metro is sending buses to shuttle passengers around the Little Tokyo Station, which has been closed.
