FARMINGVILLE, New York — Prosecutors say a man arrested in the death of his girlfriend on Long Island had stabbed her more than 20 times.

Charles Pray, of Bay Shore, was arraigned Tuesday on a murder charge in the slaying of 36-year-old Monica Lino. The mother of two was found dead in her Farmingville home on Sunday.
