MISSOULA, Montana — Montana women's basketball coach Robin Selvig has announced the signing of two recruits, including Missoula Sentinel guard Maddie Keast.
Also signing with the Lady Griz is Sierra Anderson of Mill Creek, Washington
Keast is a 5-foot-9 guard who played two years at Missoula Loyola before transferring to Sentinel for her junior year. She was a starter on Sentinel's 2013 Class AA state championship team that posted a 22-1 record. Selvig says he likes Keast's athleticism, work ethic and love for the game.
Anderson is a 5-6 guard and a senior at Henry M. Jackson High in Everett, where she averaged 14.4 points per game last season. Selvig called her a prototype point guard who can handle and distribute the ball and score, too.
