LUMBERTON, North Carolina — Robeson County deputies have concluded a 68-year-old Lumberton pastor killed his wife, and then shot himself to death.

Investigators told media outlets that Bill Scott and his 64-year-old wife, Charlotte, were found dead on the deck at their home Wednesday by the teenage granddaughter they were raising.

Deputies say they aren't releasing any other information about the shooting, and their investigation is continuing.

Scott was pastor at Charity Baptist Church.
