Man shot in face in Bridgeport drive-by expected to survive; police seek suspects


BRIDGEPORT, Connecticut — Bridgeport police say a man shot in the face over the weekend is expected to survive.

Police say the man was wounded in a drive-by shooting on Ogden Street at about 2 a.m. Sunday, but his injuries aren't life-threatening. He's being treated at Bridgeport Hospital.

The victim's name hasn't been released.

Police say the shooter sped away in a pickup truck. More details on the suspect and the truck haven't been disclosed.

Anyone with information about the shooting is urged to call Bridgeport police.
