Even after an opening-day win, Miami QB Ryan Tannehill knows Week 2 has to be crisper

DAVIE, Florida — Ryan Tannehill guided the Miami Dolphins to 33 points in Week 1, the team's second-highest scoring total against New England in 20 years.

Imagine what could have happened if he was sharper — because he and the Dolphins know plenty of plays were left out there.

Tannehill missed some targets, was victimized by a couple drops, and by wide receiver Mike Wallace's estimation could have had at least three more touchdown passes.

Tannehill is owning up to the fact that the new Miami offense was far from perfect in the opener. He expects the group to be better this weekend, when the Dolphins (1-0) visit AFC East rival Buffalo (1-0).

The Bills gave up 349 passing yards to Chicago last week, so opportunities should be there for Miami on Sunday.
