Gas prices in RI fall 3 more cents; cost has dropped 15 cents in last month

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Gas prices in Rhode Island are continuing to fall, this time by three cents.

AAA Southern New England says the average cost of a gallon of regular is $3.81, down from $3.84 last week. The price has dropped 15 cents in the last month.

The state average is still well above the national average of $3.68 a gallon.

At this time last year, Rhode Islanders were paying an average of $3.97 a gallon.
