ROCK HILL, South Carolina — An inmate who walked away from a work release site in Rock Hill last week has been captured.

Multiple media outlets reported that the South Carolina Department of Corrections said 25-year-old Bobby Albert Camp III is being held in the Greenville County jail.

The prison agency did not provide details on how Camp was caught.

Camp walked away from a work release program site July 7.

He was serving a seven-year sentence for robbery at the Catawba Pre-Release Center in York County. The facility houses 58 inmates who work jobs during the day outside the prison.
