ANCHORAGE, Alaska — A man who witnesses say fired shots and smashed a window was arrested in Anchorage Thursday night after a two-hour standoff with police and a SWAT team.

The Alaska Dispatch News reports (http://bit.ly/1FC9AyY) police were called to what spokeswoman Renee Oistad says was a "male-female altercation" between two unidentified individuals.

Neighbors watched while officers asked the man and woman to leave the apartment. The woman walked out first, followed by the man, who police arrested.

No one was injured in the incident.
