FERRIDAY, Louisiana — State police have arrested a 70-year-old Ferriday man on charges of possessing and distributing child pornography.
Trooper Scott Moreau says Charles Hart was arrested Wednesday.
In February, Moreau says troopers received information from the state Attorney General's Office and the Slidell police in reference to a person downloading child pornography in Ferriday.
A search warrant was obtained and executed in April. During the execution of the search warrant, Moreau said numerous images of child pornography were found on a computer in Hart's home.
It was unclear whether he has an attorney.
