Police investigate stabbing death of 31-year-old Queens woman

NEW YORK — Police are investigating the stabbing death of a 31-year-old woman in Queens.

Police officers found Margarita Rivera stabbed multiple times in the head and chest after responding to a 911 call of an assault at about 2:30 p.m. Monday. It happened in front of 107-22 Watson Place.

The victim was taken to Jamaica Hospital where she was pronounced dead at the scene.

There have been no arrests.
