Man critically injured in fire at Huntsville home; cause of blaze unclear

HUNTSVILLE, Alabama — A man has been critically injured in a fire at his Huntsville home.

Huntsville firefighters responded to the blaze around 9:15 p.m. Friday. Al.com (http://bit.ly/1yvuzAf ) reports arriving firefighters saw smoke and flames coming from the southwest corner of the home.

Fire Capt. Frank McKenzie said the injured man was found near the kitchen and taken to Huntsville Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.

No other injuries were reported. The cause of the blaze remains unclear.
