HOCKESSIN, Delaware — Delaware State Police say a woman seriously injured last week in a crash that killed her husband has died.

The crash occurred March 23 in Hockessin when police say a Honda CRV turning left from Old Wilmington Road onto Lancaster Pike pulled into the path of a Saab 95.

The driver of the Honda, 69-year-old Vijayachandra Babu of Hockessin, was taken to Christiana Hospital Trauma Center, where police say he was pronounced dead. His wife, 73-year-old Tulasi Babu, was taken to the Christiana Hospital with serious injuries. Police say she was pronounced dead at the hospital on Wednesday.

Police said three teens in the Saab suffered injuries that were not believed to be life threatening.

The crash remains under investigation.
