Chicago boy, 12, in stable condition after being shot on Chicago's South Side

CHICAGO — A 12-year-old Chicago boy is recovering after he was shot in the leg.

Police tell the Chicago Sun-Times (http://bit.ly/1f1BFPx ) that the boy was shot Thursday night in the city's Altgeld Garden neighborhood on the far South Side.

Investigators say the boy was shot as he walked past two men.

He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in stable condition.

Authorities say no arrests have been made.
