LEWISBURG, Pennsylvania — John Azzinaro scored 19 points and drilled three late 3-pointers, including the go-ahead 3 with 11 seconds left to lift Bucknell past Navy 65-63 Wednesday night.

Nana Foulland added 12 points with seven rebounds and Steven Kaspar dished out six assists for the Bison (8-10, 3-2 Patriot League). Azzinaro was 6 of 7 from the floor and 5 of 5 from the perimeter.

Worth Smith led Navy (7-10, 3-2) with 14 points and seven boards, Edward Alade added 12 points and Kendall Knorr chipped in 11.

Alade dunked to give the Midshipmen a 61-55 lead with 2:42 left. Azzinaro took over from there, nailing two 3-pointers to tie it with 1:17 remaining.

Azzinaro forced a tie-up for a jump ball and Bucknell had the possession arrow, setting him up for his go-ahead basket. Bucknell elected to foul to prevent Navy from tying it, and the teams exchanged late free throws.
