Conway police investigate man's slaying; wife found victim bleeding outside home


CONWAY, Arkansas — Police in Conway are investigating the slaying of a man whose wife found him bleeding outside their home.

Authorities identified the victim as 42-year-old Francesco Trujillo, who was discovered early Tuesday.

Trujillo's wife told investigators her husband was outside with family members when she went to bed around midnight. She later checked on him and found him lying in a pool of blood on the front porch.

The Log Cabin Democrat reports ( ) Trujillo died from a gunshot wound to the chest. Family members said Trujillo was fine when they left him. A witness told police of hearing a gunshot and a car leaving the area.

Police say they don't yet have a suspect in the slaying.
