Sydney FC beats Western Sydney 4-3 to continue Asian champion's woes in the A-League

SYDNEY — Marc Janko scored twice and Terry Antonis netted the winner in the 74th minute as Sydney FC extended the Western Sydney Wanderers' woes in the A-League with a 4-3 win Saturday.

Kerem Bulut scored twice for the Asian-champion Wanderers who have only one win in 17 matches this season with five draws.

Earlier Saturday, the Newcastle Jets and Central Coast Mariners played to a scoreless draw.

On Friday, Socceroos striker Josh Kennedy scored his first goal for Melbourne City since returning from playing in Japan to lead his side to a 3-1 win over Adelaide United.

First-place Perth played Brisbane and the Melbourne Victory, who trail the Glory by two points, played Wellington in later weekend matches to conclude the 19th round.
