Troopers spokeswoman: small plane carrying 2 crashes in western Alaska, no injuries


ANCHORAGE, Alaska — An Alaska State Troopers spokeswoman says a small plane has crashed about 12 miles south of the western Alaska village of Chevak but the two people aboard were unhurt.

KTUU-TV reports that spokeswoman Beth Ipsen says troopers were informed of the Friday afternoon crash about 5 p.m. She had no details about the plane.

Ipsen says the National Transportation Safety Board has been notified.
