Northeast Ohio man sentenced to more than 27 years in prison for producing child pornography

COLUMBUS, Ohio — A northeast Ohio man has been sentenced to more than 27 ½ years in federal prison for taking explicit photos of a teenage girl that he posted on Internet sites.

Court documents show 38-year-old Antonio Sibley, of Akron, was sentenced Wednesday after a jury in May found him guilty of one count of production of child pornography.

Prosecutors say Sibley harbored the 17-year-old girl in a motel room in suburban Columbus and took photos of her for websites offering her sexual services.

Members of the Human Trafficking Task Force found the girl during an undercover operation on July 31, 2014.

His attorney sought a more lenient sentence, arguing that Sibley and the girl were in a "loving, intimate relationship," and living together as boyfriend and girlfriend.
