MANCHESTER, New Hampshire — Police have made an arrest in a bank robbery in Manchester.

Authorities say 32-year-old Shane Mitchell of Manchester has been charged with robbing the TD Bank on Franklin Street Saturday morning.

Mitchell is accused of handing a note to a teller, demanding money and then fleeing with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police say no weapon was displayed.

Police say after the robbery they searched in the direction that the suspect was last seen and found a man matching the description of the suspect, who had been wearing a dark colored coat and hat, jeans and a blue scarf covering his face.

It was not immediately known if Mitchell has a lawyer.
