14 SD Guard soldiers back home after deployment

SIOUX FALLS, South Dakota — Fourteen South Dakota National Guard soldiers who served nine months in Kuwait and Afghanistan are back home in South Dakota.

The members of the 927th Engineer Detachment flew into Sioux Falls over the weekend, after spending almost a week at Fort Bliss, Texas, going through the demobilization process.

The soldiers helped with engineering projects while they were overseas.

Staff Sgt. Bradley Limbo got to hold his new baby. His wife, Alesha, gave birth while he was away, and he watched the delivery on Skype.
