NEW YORK — Hans Brase scored 15 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead four Princeton players in double figures as the Tigers beat Columbia 74-62 on Friday night.

Ben Hazel finished with 13 — all in the final 7:45 — Amir Bell added 11 and Spencer Weisz 10 for Princeton (10-10, 3-1 Ivy League), which made 26 of 48 (54 percent) field goals, including 9 of 15 from 3-point range.

Maodo Lo scored seven-straight Columbia points, including a three-point play that pulled the Lions within two about six minutes into the second half.

Princeton used a 15-4 run, which was capped by a 3 from Hazel, to push its lead to 59-46 with 7:45 left.

Lo, who finished with 21 points, scored 10-straight Columbia (10-9, 2-3) points — including back-to-back 3s — but the Lions would get no closer than down 10 the rest of the way.
