Dickinson man sentenced to 26 years for sexually abusing children; 1 case spanned 6 years


DICKINSON, North Dakota — A 49-year-old Dickinson man who pleaded guilty in two child sex abuse cases has been sentenced to a total of 26 years in prison.

Authorities say Jacob Lampl engaged in sex acts with victims under 15 years old. One of the cases spanned a six-year period beginning in 2006.

Lampl pleaded guilty last December to two felony counts of continuous sexual abuse of a minor. KXMB-TV reports ( ) that he was sentenced Monday.
