PIERRE, South Dakota — An Eagle Butte man has been sentenced to 11 years in federal prison for molesting a child he was baby-sitting nearly 20 years ago.

Forty-two-year-old Frank Baker was accused of sexually assaulting a girl younger than 12 between June 1995 and August 1996. He was indicted last May and pleaded guilty in July to a charge of aggravated sexual abuse of a child.

The U.S. attorney's office did not release details about the amount of time that elapsed between the crime and Baker being charged.

Baker will be on supervised release for five years following his prison term.
