TULSA, Oklahoma — Shawn Glover and Korey Billbury scored 21 points each with Glover adding 11 rebounds in leading Oral Roberts to a 71-54 victory over Southeastern Louisiana on Saturday night.
Bobby Word added 16 points for Oral Roberts, which has rebounded with three straight wins after losing four-straight prior.
Oral Roberts (12-12, 6-5, Southland Conference) secured a 33-18 lead at the break that proved too much for the Lions to overcome after shooting only 33 percent. The Lions allowed Oral Roberts 25 points from the line in 31 attempts, while scoring only 8 free throws on their end.
The Golden Eagles led by as many as 20 in the second period and allowed SE Louisiana to get no closer than nine before breaking away again.
Dre Evans scored 13 points and Onochie Ochie notched 12 for SE Louisiana (9-13, 4-7), losers of five of their past six games.
