JACKSONVILLE, Florida — A homeless man has been convicted of fatally stabbing another homeless man in Jacksonville.

A Duval County jury found 42-year-old Charles C. Reeder III guilty Thursday of second-degree murder. He faces a possible life sentence at a hearing next month.

Authorities say officers found the body of 57-year-old Earl Wayne Griffin behind a shopping center in February. Reeder had been arrested in the area several hours earlier, charged with disorderly intoxication.

The Florida Times-Union (http://goo.gl/YWDJHz ) reports that DNA testing connected blood found on Reeder's clothing to Griffin.
