JACKSON, Tennessee — The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is looking into the fatal shooting of teenage suspect in Madison County.

The Jackson Sun reports (http://bit.ly/1tc1aE3) Madison County Sheriff's deputies Sgt. Tom Knolton and Sgt. Terry Stewart were involved in the shooting death of 18-year-old Dillon McGee Friday afternoon. The TBI did not say which of the two deputies shot McGee.

According to the agency, McGee had active warrants that were signed Friday morning on charges of assault, domestic assault, aggravated robbery and false imprisonment.

As the deputies approached McGee in his parked car on Friday afternoon at about 1:30 p.m., McGee allegedly tried to run over the two men. One of the deputies shot at the car, hitting McGee.

An autopsy will be performed on McGee.

McGee's passenger, 19-year-old Robert Aspiranti, was unharmed.
