Grain mostly lower, livestock mixed

CHICAGO — Grain futures were mostly lower Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery was off 9.50 cents to $4.74 a bushel; July corn was 1.50 cents lower at 3.6625 a bushel; July oats were 3.50 cents higher to 2.4425 a bushel; while July soybeans declined 12 cents to $9.76 a bushel.

Beef was mixed and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. June live cattle was off 1.20 cents to $1.4970 a pound; August feeder cattle was unchanged at $2.1470 a pound; while June lean hogs were up .22 cent to $.8142 a pound.
