Alaska State Troopers boost patrols enforce drunken driving laws during holiday season


ANCHORAGE, Alaska — Alaska State Troopers say they are boosting patrols to enforce drunken driving laws during the holidays.

The enforcement effort began Dec. 10, and will continue until Jan. 4.

Troopers say officers also are on the lookout for other behaviors, including speeding and driving too fast for conditions.
