Passenger traffic at T.F. Green Airport down 5 percent in November, 6 percent this year


WARWICK, Rhode Island — Passenger traffic at T.F. Green Airport in Warwick fell just under 5 percent in November compared with a year ago, and continues to be down for the year.

The Rhode Island Airport Corp. said Thursday that the number of passengers flying into or out of the airport declined to 281,044, compared with 295,452 a year earlier.

Year to date, the airport has seen the number of passengers fall just over 6 percent, to 3,285,793, compared with 3,499,846 during the same 11-month period last year.

The corporation also reported total cargo was down 6.5 percent in November, but up close to 3 percent for the year.
