EUGENE, Oregon — The Eugene City Council voted Monday night to postpone the demolition of City Hall for two weeks to have another debate about the future of the building.

The Register-Guard reports (http://bit.ly/1qCd8JP ) a majority of the council has endorsed plans for a new $15 million building. But some still think the existing 50-year-old City Hall should be renovated.
