Police: 1 17-year-old killed, 1 wounded in shooting on Buffalo street late Tuesday night


BUFFALO, New York — Police say a 17-year-old has been fatally shot and another wounded by gunfire on a Buffalo street.

Police say the young men were shot around 10:30 p.m. on Shirley Avenue on the city's east side.

No other information has been released.

The shooting occurred about seven hours after four teenage boys were shot in another east side neighborhood. One of the teens died and the other three suffered non-life-threatening wounds.
