ANDERSON, South Carolina — Deputies say they think they know who shot and killed one man and wounded another in Anderson.

Investigators told local media outlets that 33-year-old Herman Scott died after being shot in the chest around 4:30 p.m. Saturday.

Deputies interviewed a second man who arrived at a hospital with a gunshot wound. That man is not suspected to be the shooter.

Authorities have not filed any charges as they try to untangle what happened. They did say they think they know who fired the shots.

Deputies have not said what led to the gunfire.
