Teams search land and water around Lincolnton for woman missing more than a week

LINCOLNTON, North Carolina — Authorities in Lincoln County are looking for a 62-year-old woman missing for more than a week.

The Charlotte Observer reported Saturday (http://bit.ly/19H5NE0 ) that teams conducted a wide search of wooded areas and bodies of water for Patricia Loveless.

Loveless was last seen March 13 near Lincolnton High School, wearing a blue sweatshirt, gray pants and white tennis shoes. She was reported missing by her roommate.

Lincolnton Police officers also handed out flyers and talked to residents. They reported receiving no solid leads on where Loveless might be.

Those with any information about Loveless' whereabouts are urged to call Lincolnton Police at 704-736-8900 or Lincolnton-Lincoln County Crime Stoppers at 704-736-8909.
