GLASGOW, Scotland — Celtic tightened its grip at the top of the Scottish Premiership after second-place Inverness only drew 0-0 at St. Mirren on Saturday.
Celtic, which thrashed Motherwell 5-0 on Friday, has a seven-point lead in the standings after 14 games.
Dundee United climbed to third with a 4-1 home win over bottom-place Hearts, with fourth-place Aberdeen on the same points after beating St. Johnstone 2-0.
